As of April 14, 2007, this is the easternmost CB&Q signal bridge still in service on the Chicago Subdivision that is not in Clyde or Western Avenue freight yards or near the 14th Street coach yard. This one controls westbound traffic through Hinsdale and is located at the Highlands depot. The eastward signal was one of the first on this line to be replaced, but the barren bridge itself still stands. Ektachrome 100. |
